Change Poya Homepage Banner Image

Create banner image

The banner image should be 2000px wide and less than 400 kb. You will need to compress it down to this. If it is a drawing, see if saving as a PNG will reduce the size. The smaller size the better.

IMPORTANT: If your banner image file size is more than 250kb, then you must put -banner at the end of the file name. Fore example poson-poya-banner.png

Open Homepage Banner Poya element

Go to Appearance > Elements

Then look for Homepage Banner POYA and click Edit

Change Banner Image

Click the image to be replaced and then click Replace. Upload the new image and then click Publish if the element was a draft, or Update if it was already published.

Unpublish any other homepage banners

If the banner image you just replaced was already the active banner on the home page, then you are done!

However, if there was a different banner image then you must unpublish the other banner image. For example, if the Homepage Banner Kotte Shrine banner element was published, then again go to the list of elements

Then find that element and click Quick Edit

Then under Status change it to Draft and then click Update.
